I am a master level human service/social service professional with 8 years of professional experience. This includes case management, counseling, intervention and on-call experience. Also, as a part of my professional background, I have collaborated with other agencies, as well as advocated on the behalf of the clients I have served. I have worked with children and families within a mental health setting gaining experience on a state and local level. I am experienced in policy and procedures pertaining to local, state and federal government.While employed with the State of Louisiana, I received training on topics such as ethics, emergency preparedness, policy and procedures, working within a mental health setting, Infant Mental Health and identifying a crisis. I have experience providing educational information specific to job training, educating the community of possible resources, and job related presentations. I am familiar with the rules and regulations regarding confidentiality. I exhibit strong organizational, interpersonal and critical thinking skills. I also have a strong ethical background. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisiana-Monroe in 2006. Also, I obtained my Master's degree in Human Service from Capella University in 2010. In July 2017, I received my certification as a Human Services-Board Certified Practitioner.
