The Atlantic Canada Aerospace & Defence Association (ACADA) is a new regional entity with a mandate to promote and advance the development of the Atlantic Canadian aerospace, defence and security industries.

The AAADA is a collaborative regional organization representing the interests of the Atlantic Canadian aerospace, defence, space and security industries. Working in partnership with our industry members, provincial associations, government stakeholders and key partners, the AAADA facilitates strategic industry development on behalf of the region while promoting the Atlantic Canada brand locally, nationally and internationally. The OMG has been engaged as the contractor to execute the Atlantic Alliance of Aerospace & Defence Associations 2014-2015 Strategic Work Plan which involves the implementation and management of a broad range of regional, national and international initiatives and events on behalf of the sector.

Lisa Clory spent 8 years of her career working with the Aerospace & Defence Association of PEI (ADAPEI) and regional affiliate (the Atlantic Alliance of Aerospace & Defence Associations). During her career with the association Lisa held a variety of roles, with the most posting as Executive Director. In this role Lisa was responsible for a broad range of association deliverables aimed at fostering sector collaboration and initiatives in the areas of advocacy and awareness, workforce/skills development, marketing/communications, and business development. Notably, Lisa was instrumental in supporting and managing numerous national and international missions and events on behalf of the A&D sector in Atlantic Canada including two successful Atlantic missions to the Farnborough International Air Show (Farnborough, UK), three missions to I/ITSEC, a leading Industry Training & Simulation Show in Orlando, FL, Atlantic Canada Exploratory Mission to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for LAAD, and led a highly successful inaugural Training and Simulation Symposium for Defence in Halifax, NS in March 2013.
