I also recruited organizations to partner with us on special initiatives.Additionally, I worked to get our members more involved in the political process. This effort included keeping the membership informed of legislative issues impacting the industry as well as tips about communicating effectively with public officials. In 2014 ICSC was awarded a bronze Telly in the Film/Video category for its instructional "how to lobby" video, which provided tips to ICSC members on how to have a successful meeting with an elected official. -
