Passionate, ambitious, and driven. Currently enjoying a new career in IT, where I’m able to use problem solving and customer service skills I’ve developed in a really awesome company. It’s exciting to be part of an innovative technology business where boundaries are constantly being pushed, which gives me the opportunity to do the same with my own development and skill set. Trained as a conservation biologist, I have keen interests in the natural world and our role in it but particularly in the genetic management of populations of endangered species, and reintroduction conservation. I have a strong background in conservation, molecular ecology, conservation genetics, and taxonomy.Switching into the tech sector has surprised me with the number of parallels and transferrable skills that apply to both fields. Breaking down problems and getting to the ‘nitty gritty’ to get the best solution keeps my heart and head firing on all cylinders!
