Guided by three tenets of evergreen advice my mom always shared, I believe that good things happen when we nurture our mind, body, and spirit. These principles always lead me through life's obstacles and guide me through those unknown roads and life shifts. It's one of the reasons that I became a writer later in life because of hearing my mom say, "What are you going to do?" So, I tapped into the dormant writer who patiently waited for release, and here I am - evolving each time I sit down and put my fingertips to the keyboard. That evolution, however, doesn't only apply to being a writer. I've written many chapters that have helped shape who I am today. Each is interconnected, leading me to my current role as Product Marketing Manager in biotechnology for Berkshire Corporation. I'm grateful for the many roles I've held throughout my professional career, including Brand Manager, Project Manager, and Director of Global Business Development and Sales Operations. No matter the part, I've been fortunate enough to share my unique skill set to help companies improve their brand presence, streamline processes, implement procedures, and develop and enhance communications. In addition, my background in consumer-packaged goods, manufacturing, and textiles has only added to my portfolio of knowledge and enabled me to have a broad perspective on leadership, management, and, most importantly, the people who help these industries thrive. I'm thankful for my education, which has helped me develop personally and professionally. I hold a Master of Science in Communications and Information Management from Bay Path University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Oswego State University.
