I am the corporate loan officer with eighteen years' experience in the greater Baton Rouge area and I offer residential financing with VA, FHA, RD, jumbo, construction/renovation, conventional, and Non-QM such as bank statement, DSCR (investor), foreign national, ITIN and asset utilization home loans. It is always "changing" in our industry, and there is much continuing education that must be self-learned in order to stay on top. You have to be flexible in loan types and know your products well enough to get through underwriting. This has always been my motto since I became a loan officer and the main reason I know the VA loan product so well.
