I am a task lead and independent contributor to a variety of projects in the National Security Directorate at PNNL, including projects related to nuclear non-proliferation and sensor fusion, natural language processing and MLOps, and optimal control of grid-edge energy storage and production.

Received an MS in Applied Mathematics while pursuing coursework in advanced mathematical and technological tools for applied modeling and data science.Supported graduate studies with TA appointments in undergraduate calculus and physics.

Designed and implemented data-driven models to predict new construction: I reduced business-motivated requirements to measurable variables. I sourced, cleaned, and analyzed econometric data to synthesize overall trends, then created visualizations for company-wide strategic planning.

Received concurrent degrees in Mathematics from the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences and in Mechanical Engineering from the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering: School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy.

Developed advanced methods for massive simulation of fluid dynamics with applicationsto aeronautics and acoustics. I modified legacy packages to test new methods on the Pleiades supercomputer, and ruled out use of the new method in production code, saving expensive further work.

Tutored undergraduates in writing, especially for the freshman honors colloquium. Assisted students in complex analysis of major works of thought from diverse cultures and times, helping to organize the students' original, compelling arguments into an in-depth essay.

January - February -- Tested the mechanical properties of a composite material (including duties such as designing appropriate machine heads and monitoring tests) alongside two graduate researchers.February - December -- Developed a verifiable multiscale model to extract mesoscale behavior of a nanocomposite smart material. Funded through the Fulton Undergraduate Research Initiative.

Investigated numerical methods for the computation of global-scale weather models, including stability and accuracy analysis, and the applicability of this scheme to a complex and highly nonlinear global model of twin tropical cyclonesWorked directly with Dr. Mohamed Moustaoui in this NSF-funded summer research experience.Presented research results at the professional conference in Baltimore, MD, January 2014: the Joint Mathematics Meetings of the Mathematical Association of America and the American Mathematical Society.
