Luis is an Economic and Commercial Counsellor and Director of AICEP Shanghai, a Portuguese agency that supports the internationalization of Portuguese companies and attracts foreign investment. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from Universidade do Minho and has a strong background in international relations and problem-solving skills.He started his career as an Advisor for Economic and Political Affairs at the Portuguese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where he gained valuable experience in dealing with consular and economic issues in Shanghai, China. He then moved to London as a Project Manager at aicep Portugal Global UK, where he successfully promoted Portugal as a destination for British investors and exporters. In his current role, he leads a team of professionals who assist Portuguese companies in entering and expanding in the Chinese market, as well as attracting Chinese investment to Portugal. He is passionate about learning new concepts and overcoming challenges, and he is always eager to explore new opportunities and cultures.
