Meeting And Events Specialist
CurrentAssess clients’ needs and desires for a variety of meetings and events, and assist with arrangements necessary to execute the clients desired vision and goal. • Send out RFPs for future meeting venues, communicate with key venue contacts, and organize bid information • Manage onsite registration logistics - freight logistics ensuring timely delivery, while maintaining predetermined budget; managing and training onsite temporary staff • Manage post event financial reporting - reconciling registration fees between internal database and credit card processor; manage vendor support; manage recognition projects for client; manage registration system and provide input for improvements • Ensuring timely updates are completed to the event pages on the client’s website • Oversee facilities management to ensure supplies are stocked and organized • Serve as a key staff member - managing Trello boards; ordering all meeting related signage, preparing all meeting related materials • Collecting all meeting notes and presentations from attendees and organizing into a web-based archive • Serve as the key point of contact for attendee interactions - processing transactions; troubleshooting requests; managing attendance verification; communications support
