  I manage the petroleum remediation program in the Department’s Southern Maine Regional Office in Portland. I establish appropriate risk-based clean-up goals that are protective of human health and the environment; conduct site cleanups; assign work to staff; oversee work performed by staff and contractors to ensure that regulations and guidelines are followed; and prepare annual budgets for site cleanups to ensure that sites are remediated in an efficient and effective manner. I also provide site investigation, mitigation, and remediation in support to bureau programs, including RCRA, Solid Waste, Uncontrolled Sites, Brownfield, VRAP, and PFAS programs. I also conduct research projects focusing on the fate and transport of PFAS in the environment.
