● Started as Human Resources Assistant and moved to HR/Education Manager in 1995● Managed all human resources and training functions for the Blood Center. Duties included oversight of hiring, payroll, development, training and disciplinary functions for center● Developed and implemented a full-service employee assistance program, and provided additional staff development opportunities. ● Managed the volunteer function for local blood drives, which included recruiting, training, coordinating and scheduling more than 50 volunteers. ● Coordinated and conducted staff training in mentoring and instruction, performance management, and leadership● Oversight of all regulated training for blood services staff and volunteers, and worked with Compliance Officer to ensure proper documentation maintenance● Ensured all training activities met the Food and Drug Administration guidelines, and had oversight of human resources and training functions during annual FDA audits● Coordinated all activities for an affirmative action audit by the Office of Federal Contracts and Compliance in 1996 in which the agency was given a perfect review.
