Part of the Engineering Services team which is responsible for delivery of consultancy services to customers across a variety of projects from small analysis work to transmission design. Responsible for a range of analysis tasks such as durability studies, gear optimization, FE analysis, liaising with customers and delivering technical reports.• Performed gear durability and micro-geometry optimisation on hybrid passenger car gearboxes. • Evaluated the effect of micro-geometry manufacturing tolerances on transmission error and durability through conducting 3-sigma Monte Carlo studies.• Analysed a light duty truck internal shift system through using ANSYS Workbench to determine overall system stiffness.• Provided support on DFMEA reports for a 2-stage EV and 12-speed twin layshaft truck gearbox, identifying possible failures and risks to product performance.• Concept modelling within MASTA

As a member of the diesel fuel pump validation, team my responsibilities were to support multiple validation engineers across multiple products. Achieved through hands-on disassembly of fuel pumps post testing documenting condition, ensuring validation targets were met and delivered to the customer as scheduled. • Evaluated and recorded condition of diesel fuel pumps after validation testing across multiple different testing procedures. • Responded to testing failures and performed on test rig investigations on the status of fuels pumps to determine suitability to continue testing. • Liaised across departments to organized specialist testing work and analysis, required to generate testing summary reports.• Trained student engineers on day-to-day validation tasks and responsibilities for the role.
