A 10 year veteran of television news, I currently use my writing/production skills and my English/Journalism degree to generate new and continued business at a medical education company. I am part of a team that creates responsive and effective proposals/grants to create and fund medical education programs. Prior to entering the world of grant writing for continuing medical education, I lead the proposal submission efforts for an accounting firm. As the firm’s primary Business Development Associate, I responded to RFPs/RFQs audit services issued by local governmental entities with proposals tailored to the client’s needs. I was also the driving force behind a proposal re-design, creating a signature look in keeping with the firm’s brand, and was responsible for a majority of the firm’s marketing and communications. I also spent almost 10 years producing television news, creating daily newscasts and overseeing general production, and achieving record ratings at several news stations.My strengths lie in writing, production, organization and working diligently under pressure. I also have extensive experience in working with and publishing to social media, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat, and even writing my own blog.
