I am a Software Engineer by trade, but a Tech Enthusiast by heart; I write code pretty much every day, and tend to have a tool, toy, or script for every task.I don't have near as much time for my hobbies now that I have a kid, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. The free time that I do have is usually spent wrenching on my car (I'm scoping out time for when I can rebuild its T56 transmission,) testing or setting up new software in my homelab, or tinkering with my 3D printers.I'm passionate about helping others. Whether it's fixing a friend's mower, mentoring a colleague at work, or pouring time and money into a good cause; nothing brings me more pleasure than to help someone else succeed. The primary cause I support is Children's Cup. They have a heart for "throwaway" children, and their work in Swaziland (and around the world) empowers those children to be the next generation of leaders in their communities.

This included research into viable platforms for integration, communication with key business partners to assess the business value of the integration, set up of systems in our lab environment, and development of libraries to allow Nessus to communicate with the third party systems. Secondary was the development of core NASL libraries to allow Nessus plugins to communicate in a large range of proprietary protocols.I worked with minimal supervision, leading teams of 1-3 through the full process of research, design, implementation, and maintenance. In 4 years I was able to expand our original suite of 3 patch management integrations to 11, covering the most widely used CMDB solutions.
