When I was in 2nd grade, my American parents told me I would be starting at an international school and all my classes would be in German. “Ummm what!? I can barely read and write in English” is probably what was running through my mind at the time. Being the only one who didn’t speak German had its challenges but it shaped me to be the person I am today. I was fortunate enough to go to school with over 90 countries represented and eventually learned not only German but Spanish and Chinese as well. I like to think that this experience gave me the ability to work with all types of people and have a greater appreciation for different perspectives and backgrounds. Fast forward to today and my ability to work with diverse backgrounds has paid off. I provide top-performing financial advisors and business owners with tools and resources needed to tackle the most pressing business matters-from client experience, to human capital, to scaling for growth. My greatest honor to date has been serving as the President of the Young Women’s Alliance, a local Austin non-profit dedicated to empowering the next generation of women leaders. During my time as President, my team and I doubled our membership base to 600, released a 3-year DEI strategic plan, and raised the most funds to date during our annual peer-to-peer campaign. Running a company and knowing that the work we did made a substantial impact in the lives of women and in the Austin community was the most thrilling experience I’ve ever been a part of.
