A member of the Michigan Department of State Police for nearly 32 years. Serving as a Trooper and as a member of the MSP Canine Unit while assigned to the Ionia Post, a Uniform Desk Sergeant at the Owosso Post, and was later assigned to HQ in Prevention Services, and 1st District as the Traffic Services Staff Sergeant. I was promoted and served as the Post Commander of the Ithaca Post and State Capitol Post. Holds a BA degree from Spring Arbor University in Management and Organizational Development. A graduate of Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and Command, and of the FBI National Academy. A recipient of the Michigan State Police Bravery Award and the Michigan Association Chiefs of Police Medal of Honor and three Professional Excellence Awards from The Michigan State Police.
