T Comm Tracking & Tracing B.V., based in Zoetermeer, manufactures Tracking & Tracing products and P-Eye tire pressure sensors. Both products are smart and logical tools for the transport sector.The T Comm Tracking & Tracing system is primarily aimed at reporting the status of cargo. It is a perfect follow-up and reporting system which, in the interest of product liability, effectively shows movements made by a specific cargo.The P-Eye is a patented solution to monitor the tire pressure. The valve cap of the truck tire has to be unscrewed and replaced by the P-Eye. The P-Eye has a pre-determined minimum pressure. If the tire pressure drops 5% below the ideal pressure and drops therefore automatically below the pre-determined pressure, the LED-light will start blinking. The driver easily sees that the tire pressure in the concerned tire is too low and is able to return the pressure to the desired level.

The Faculty is one of the largest of the eight faculties at TU Delft and one of the largest faculties devoted entirely to aerospace engineering in northern Europe. It is the only institute carrying out research and education directly related to aerospace engineering in the Netherlands.Through the years, the Faculty has responded to the increasing demands of the aerospace industry by further expanding its facilities and laboratories. It has also expanded existing aerospace engineering topics to cover important fields such as earth observation and wind energy.Today the Faculty has a student body of over 2000 undergraduates and graduates, about 250 members of academic staff and 100 PhD students.
