iXLd Media was formed when it was clear that the software and strategy that I had used to grow "We Put Up Lights" into a national franchise could be used in any number of other industries.Empowering a network of local representatives with online tools, while leveraging them to create an authority site based on high value keyword based domain names is a strategy that we built our company around.The platform I built has powered hundreds of real estate sites, neighbourhood, building and niche-specific directories in health, fitness, hospitality, fintech, cannabis and other authority sites.

Built a company focused on holiday lighting design first locally and later as a business in a box solution that included marketing materials, websites, training and a client referral portal fed by SEO. What started as a simple Christmas side gig, turned into an SEO and SaaS software referral marketing platform that fueled an international business franchise system. I sold the company but kept the software, pivoting into real estate.

This was an interesting opportunity for me.Cirkids was in the midst of a major strategic plan and was assisted in the process by a consultant Rick Knowland.As a small business owner, I'm more used to being able to move quickly and make snap decisions. An organization the size of Cirkids has to move much more methodically and engage all the stake holders in the decision.At the end of a 2 year process, the organization emerged with clear goals related to growth and a stronger organization with buy in from all the major stake holders (Board, Teachers, Parents, Funders).The new organization is now called Circus West and includes both training and semi professional troops extending past just kids to include training and professional opportunities for adults.While sometimes rocky, I'm proud to have been a part of the transformation and value the experience that it brought me in working in a larger group.

undernet.* was a loyalty company before that was a term.Credit card style reusable tickets were used to create a membership system that was in operation throughout the 90's and early 2000's. Focused on the "Electronic Dance Music or EDM" scene our proprietary platform combined CRM functions, attendance reporting and was built to fit within local 'private event' bylaws giving our events a unique feature. "UNbustable" was a brand we used in conjunction with our premium services.At it's peak, the platform was in use on 3 continents and served as a marketing and gate management solution for millions of individual members.The technology was sold and the company dismantled after a decade of growth in that focused market lead to new opportunities.

The HR MacMillan Planetarium was in a funk and hadn't been updated since the late 60's. Working under Michael Harding, a leading Vancouver campaign manager and government relations expert, I acted in the position of Presentation Consultant, preparing most of the funding requests to both private sector companies and matching government funds.We raised a total of $8.8 Million and successfully saw the launch of the New Pacific Space Centre... since renamed the HR MacMillan Space Centre (can you guess who our biggest contributor was?)

I was the producers assistant on a major (CTV-GLOBAL) prime time television series. Over the course of my employ, I handled all correspondence between agents and the producer. I sourced negotiating A&R rights for sound track music and produced the opening for the second season.
