How identifying the unidentified can reduce the impact of Cardiovascular Disease on our populations and health systems.The CardiAction cardiovascular disease risk indicator model has been validated to be predictive to ≈ 80% accuracy. CardiAction has found a way to eliminate the need for the blood test during initial screening. We have been developing the science, research and model since 2017. Commercial release commenced mid 2024. By minimising the data required, we can dramatically expand coverage by making the CardiAction risk indicator available online directly to patients, anywhere, anytime. Reducing the pressure that Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) places on our populations, our health systems and healthcare budgets starts with identifying the unidentified at risk people and then providing them with effective interventions.

Loch Bloomfield sat on the board of the Chermside Day Hospital company and associated Chermside Property Holdings company, both startup businesses. The Chermside Day Hospital is a day-of-surgery-admission facility, focusing on various day procedures including urology, gastroenterology, faciomaxillary surgery and plastic surgery. As a board member, Loch was heavily focused on driving the business to profitability. He was also instrumental in facilitating a subsequent trade sale, intimately involved in all aspects of the successful negotiation.

Loch Bloomfield worked in a wide range of roles throughout his 16 years with Accenture, finishing as a Senior Executive in the Australian practice. In this Partner role, he had end-to-end responsibility for client engagements, as well as business development activities across the practice.Over many years, Loch was responsible for managing over 30 projects, varying in length from a few months to years in duration. As his experience and expertise grew, Loch was assigned roles involving programme management, stakeholder management and change management across very large teams, ranging from 50-200 team members. These client engagements were across a wide range of industries and government sectors, in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
