As a Thermal Mechanical E.I.T. at CoolIT, I specialize in the design and optimization of liquid-cooling hardware for data centers. More specifically, I design coldplates and supporting components using engineering tools such as statistical tolerance analysis, Monte Carlo Simulation, GD&T, CFD, and FEA. It is my responsibility to ensure that these designs meet thermal, structural, reliability, and manufacturability requirements prior to mass production, and ultimately field deployment.I also contribute to the creation of drawing packages, test plans, design reviews, DFMEA studies, qualification testing, and coldplate research.

As a Mechanical E.I.T. at Space Engine Systems, I was responsible for the design, procurement, and manufacture of a mobile jet engine test cell. Among other things, I also developed a shell/tube heat exchanger design code in Python to streamline and automate the design of a liquid hydrogen heat exchanger for use in a modified turbo jet engine.

As an Educational Assistant with the Fort McMurray Catholic School Board, I had the delight of teaching math and physics to the young minds of Holy Trinity Catholic High School.

As a Research Assistant with Dr. Sina Ghaemi in the Laboratory of Turbulent Flows I worked closely with an Albertan jet boat manufacturer to develop a lab-scale version of one of their race boats. The sole purpose of this project was for me to characterize the performance of their boat with wind tunnel measurements and to suggest improvements to their design and thus provide them with an advantage over their competitors.
