Denis Loctier is a TV journalist and video producer with a deep passion for global storytelling. His work reaches audiences in over 160 countries through satellite, cable, and terrestrial broadcast channels. With over 25 years of experience in broadcast television, Denis has led his crews through deserts and wetlands, braved the Arctic cold, and dived into the ocean’s depths, bringing international projects and scientific explorations to life on TV and online.Since joining Euronews in 2001, Denis has produced short TV documentaries in collaboration with institutions like the European Space Agency and the U.N. International Labour Organization, offering viewers a front-row seat to space missions and the evolving world of work. From 2007 to 2020, he covered nearly 200 European-funded science projects in the weekly show “Futuris,” in partnership with the European Commission’s DG RTD, DG CNECT, and the JRC.In 2019, Denis embarked on a new adventure with “Ocean,” a cinematic documentary series produced in cooperation with the European Commission’s DG MARE. The series dives into topics such as marine conservation, illegal fishing, plastic pollution, offshore energy, climate change, and the mysteries of deep-sea life. This ongoing journey has taken him to some of the most breathtaking corners of the planet — from the South Pacific to the North Pole, and from the Caribbean Sea to the Indian Ocean.
