I conducted sociolinguistics research under the mentorship of Dr. Lamar Graham, a professor of Hispanic linguistics at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill under the Moore Undergraduate Research Apprenticeship Program. Through his guidance, I am composing a self-directed research project concerning Japanese language retention in the continental.

I also peer-reviewed other academicpapers, and attended seminars with local experts and learned about a variety of pressing topics in geopolitics, terrorism, cyber security, and more.

I received Servsafe management certification through this work experience, as well as experience in leading a team through a fast-paced work environment. I managed high volumes of money and was responsible for the safe, making deposits at the bank, and keeping track of my team's cash on hand. I regularly opened and closed the store, and resolved disputes.
