I have been working as a front-end developer for over ten years. I specialise in building highly interactive, performant and accessible websites and web applications. I started out when it was common to write browser-specific CSS and responsive webdesign was just being hyped up. I've followed the industry's developments closely and love to experiment with new features or frameworks.In the past ten years I had the opportunity of working with a lot of highly skilled people in multiple large companies. I've always focused on the foundations of the Web so while I love developing in frameworks, I use the platform as much as possible. I've spent many hours reading HTML, CSS and JavaScript documentation and more than once did I get the opportunity to teach other people with presentations or running workshops. I enjoy working with libraries or frameworks and apply my experience of the platform when learning something new. And when learned, I love to teach that knowledge to others and help them grow as front-end developers.In the recent years I spent a lot of time broadening my expertises. I have spent many hours learning CI/CD tools and workflows, dove into the inner workings of Linux servers, or experimented with writing my own Docker images.
