About Loe Van De Ven
I was born in 1982 in Groesbeek, The Netherlands. I studied Engineering at HAN University of Applied Sciences in Arnhem where I obtained a Bachelor degree in Building Engineering in 2004. After my Bachelor,I applied for a specialized Master of Architecture at ArtEZ Institute of the Arts in Arnhem and was selected as one of 12 students for this Master. To become an architect, I worked at an architectural firm during my studies. Whilst working four days a week and studying two days a week, I created a passion for art and architecture. My main focus was and still is architecture.Part of my study included visits to architectural sites all around the world. ArtEZ brought me to California to see the works of John Lautner and to the old heart of Rome to look at the ancient architecture of the Romans. Exploring these architectural highlights meant that travelling was never the same again.For that reason, I went travelling more and more to many destinations. My passion for architecture led me to see and visit almost all buildings of Le Corbusier in France and India and to several Kahns around the globe. I went to Switzerland, Scotland, Italy, Sweden, France, India, Australia, Japan, Chili and many more countries to explore modern architecture.All these destinations left their mark in my work. From 2004 until 2012 I have worked for Geesink Weusten Architects in Arnhem, The Netherlands. At this company I was able to develop myself from a draftsmen to an architect. During those years I worked on many projects of all sorts and I have created my own vision. Eventually I reached the point where I could make my own decisions as the one responsible for leading several projects having a few draftsmen working for me.After traveling the world to explore and experience the world of architecture I am back in the Netherlands to work as an architect again.

I was responsible for the design, planning, coordination and budget of the whole family program.
