As a post-doctoral researcher, I lead research projects, research novel theories of dark matter, use machine learning to discover new physics, and develop software to explore and constrain dark matter models. My current research projects include:- Using machine learning to explore high-dimensional parameter spaces.- Developing software for accurately computing gamma-ray, positron, and neutrino spectra from GeV-scale dark matter annihilations and decays using form-factors fit to electron/positron collider data.- Computing spectra from dark matter annihilations and decays into sterile neutrinos with masses ranging from an eV to the Plank scale. Determining the effects on the cosmic microwave background from models where dark matter briefly re-enters kinetic equilibrium with the Standard Model bath.

As a graduate student researcher, I completed 10 original research projects, each resulting in a publication. I developed a large-scale python package for statistically constraining new dark matter models using data from gamma-ray telescopes.I instructed over 2000 students. I led weekly discussion sections for large groups of undergraduate physics students from courses ranging from first-year physics to senior-level mathematical physics and quantum mechanics. I held regular office hours for students to come and get help on coursework or get advice about navigating their undergraduate physics classes.

Fabricated organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) with organic molecular crystals (OMCs) grown using a novel growth method. We studied the viability of OMCs grown using organic-vapor-liquid-solid deposition (OVLS) for use in OFETs. Additionally, we investigated the electrical properties such as the charge carrier mobility and the anisotropy of the charge carrier mobility of crystalline tetracene grown using OVLS deposition.

We studied charge transport in electrochemically doped semiconducting polymers. Specifically, we used organic field-effect transistors to investigate how the charge carrier mobility of p-type carriers in Poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH-PPV) depends on the doping percentage of MEH-PPV.
