Fabricated organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) with organic molecular crystals (OMCs) grown using a novel growth method. We studied the viability of OMCs grown using organic-vapor-liquid-solid deposition (OVLS) for use in OFETs. Additionally, we investigated the electrical properties such as the charge carrier mobility and the anisotropy of the charge.

Specifically, we used organic field-effect transistors to investigate how the charge carrier mobility of p-type carriers in Poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyloxy)-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH-PPV) depends on the doping percentage of MEH-PPV.
