About Logan Beams
I am a creative, aspiring Electrical Engineer with a wealth of experience in various technician, training, and test & integration roles. I welcome new challenges, as they present opportunities to learn something new and expand my skillset and experience. The best part of learning something new is being able to pass on that knowledge to the rest of my team. Throughout my career in the military and civilian sectors, I've built up a broad skillset that includes knowledge on circuits, radio frequency systems, computer networks, and Linux server administration, which will be an invaluable complement to my university studies. My recent passion has been exploring and learning about software defined radios (SDR), particularly using Python to interact with the SDR and perform additional processing. I love the idea of using SDRs to create accessible, open source solutions for environmental research and consumer safety applications.I will be graduating in December of this year (2022) with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University, and will continue on in their M.S.E. in Electrical Engineering program after graduation. My studies have been primarily focused on topic of electronic mixed-signal circuits, with courses on analog and digital circuits, microwave circuits, and antennas.
