Graduate of the Schulich School of Engineering with a bachelor's in mechanical engineering including a one year internship of Turbine Testing and Validation with Ansaldo Energia Switzerland. I have had a longstanding attraction to mechanical engineering; stemming from my early interest in mechanics, winning 3rd place in the field of Auto Service at the Junior Calgary Regional World Skills Competition in 2011. When I graduate I hope to find a career where I am able to use my knowledge to help my team innovate, grow and succeed. Starting in my second year I was also involved with Schulich Off-Road, an engineering team with the university that designs, builds and competes with a single seat off-road prototype race vehicle yearly. It has greatly expanded my knowledge in mechanical engineering, serving as a link between what I have learned in the classroom and knowledge applicable to the real world. I served as safety officer in my final year, providing training to new members and upholding the safe operating procedures established by the university.
