- Endorsements (feature): Designed and developed a module for users (general aviation pilots) to track pilot endorsements and serve as a replacement for paper endorsement tracking- Aircraft Maintenance Tracking (feature): Modified existing calendar feature to support aircraft maintenance entries and wrote API to consolidate and organize all maintenance data- API design: Designed and implemented REST API with several request handlers for interacting with core business logic- Code architecture: Designed code architecture to enhance readability and maintainability- Deployment: Took responsibility for pushing releases including database changes and release documentation- Hiring: Collaborated with CEO in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding engineering staff (two software engineers)- Documentation: Served as the primary advocate for creating and maintaining software documentation

My projects include the following:- Simulated super-resolution microscopy images of epichromatin ring staining and E. coli bacteria with background noise. Constructed binary 3D volumes to represent samples and simulated convolution by a Lorentzian point-spread function.- Built a transparency-based 3D rendering program using polygons of varying transparency and color to better visualize and understand the structure of z-stack microscopy data.- Designed and implemented software allowing experimenters to quickly and easily quantify colocalization between two color channels of microscopy image stacks according to various standard and custom correlation metrics.- Improved upon existing software used for epichromatin ring width measurements by automating several measurements and averaging them as well as implementing several background subtraction methods.- Assisted in advising six student research projects in data analysis.- Implemented density-density pair-correlation, created figures for publication, partially authored methods section regarding this analysis.- Implemented Rolling Hough Transform analysis using academic literature as a reference.

My projects included the following: - Development of real-time analysis software for use in FPALM super-resolution microscopy utilizing image processing techniques, computer networking and large data throughput. - Development of real time drift correction and continually updating super-resolution image rendering to supplement real-time analysis software. - Investigation of hemagglutinin membrane clustering via FPALM experimental technique.

Prepared carbon solids with graphite powder using chemical methods, performed high temperature treatments and attached electrodes with silver paste.
