Involved in multiple prominent research projects in the field of XR throughout my time at the University of Maryland, College Park. These include:1. XR and Education Analysis Project:Created and implemented a lecture hall environment and whiteboard interface using the Unity Engine and C# for continuing research in Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) educational telepresence and its effects.Published a literature review of the field at large in IEEE TVCG and IEEE VR.2. Redirected Walking Thresholds Project:Uses the Unity engine and C# to lead software implementation of experiments relating to user visual threshold detection for redirected walking techniques in Virtual Reality (VR). Submitted a paper from this work to ISMAR and IEEE VR.3. Augmented Reality (AR) and Building Analytics and Maintenance Project:Using Unity, MRTK (Microsoft Mixed Reality Toolkit), and ArcGIS, collaborated with the UMD MIND Lab to integrate AR support for sensors, analytics, and maintenance for the UMD Iribe Center for Computer Science and Engineering building.

Represented the Transfer Student Community as a leader and role model while simultaneously developing course content, leading campus meetings, and facilitating discussion in the UNIV106 course.

Developed and piloted a user-friendly platform for virtual and augmented reality art experiences, using the collections of The David C. Driskell Center.

Provided academic support to the UMD Student Community by promoting effective study habits and learning strategies while assisting students of all academic backgrounds with a variety of course content, requiring mastery of many programming languages and mathematical techniques.

As a visiting researcher specializing in socially-responsible AI as a part of the exploreCSR Program, spearheaded the "Artificial Intelligence and the Arts: Towards AI-Guided Accessible Learning Spaces in Virtual Reality" research project that placed top three among many projects presented at the 7th Annual Brown University Computer Science Research Symposium.

Oversaw learner engagement and technical administration of MicroMasters courses.Duties included:• Maintaining an active understanding of course structure and topics by engaging with course materials.• Maintaining communication templates for various email marketing campaigns.• Distributing the weekly module launch emails for each course within the edX platform.• Collaborating with external stakeholders and campus partners to gather data from various sources (Tableau, edX, Qualtrics) and produce program and course-specific metrics and insights.• Serving as Tech Lead/Producer for live faculty webinars.• Conducting quality assurance tests within each course.

Collaborated with instructional designers to create the best possible experience for online students. The vast variety of assigned tasks made this a great opportunity for me to gain real experience in the field of scientific instructional design. Duties included conducting research, designing webpages, writing lecture scripts, and developing course activities such as creative thinking assignments, bilateral exercises, and videos. Contributed to many of the MOOCs offered by the UMD Robert H. Smith School of Business.

Used the Django framework and web-design techniques to maintain webpages and other IT infrastructure for the Stamp Student Union which are used by tens of thousands of students, faculty, and patrons of the University of Maryland, College Park.
