In this role, it is my job to host WZIP’s weekly sports talk show “Sports Power Talk” as well as manage the schedule of appearances for the show.I am also in charge of managing WZIP Sports’s podcast presences of “SPT Overtime” and “SPT Rewind.” Additionally, I create the schedule for on air sports updates within my team members and manage the WZIP Sports twitter which houses sports updates, podcast promotions, and much more.Also, I am the primary trainer for new members joining the sports department. It is my responsibility to guide students through the on-air training process as well as off-air procedures such as game coverage, research skills, and interview preparation.As Director of Sports, I am I charge of handling credential requests for myself and my team members in professional fields. These credentials include University of Akron athletics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Guardians on site credentials.
