• Community coalition that focused on the health and wellbeing of youth in Anchorage. • Was involved as a volunteer for over 10 years.• Coordinated with multiple other Coalitions across Alaska such as the Anchorage Youth Development Coalition, Thrive Mat-Su, Real About Addiction, the Anchorage and Mat-Su Opioid Taskforce, and Recover Alaska.• Hosted a 3 day train the trainer event at the University of Alaska Fairbanks for new youth coalition start-ups from around the State of Alaska to learn how to better recruit new members, develop media campaigns, create strategic action plans, and mission statements.• Responsible for coordinating and hosting youth committee meetings monthly, scheduling and recruiting youth for volunteer events, and reporting meeting minutes to the larger Steering Committee.• Hosted over 100 trainings on topics ranging from opioid addiction and addiction first aid to community activism and bystander intervention across the state with over 1,000 attendees in total across all trainings.
