Helping and giving happiness to people wherever I can is what I strive to do in life. All of my work experience in the past has revolved around this value. First I worked as a lifeguard at Alga Norte Aquatic Center in Carlsbad California. I helped many people there have a great experience at the pool and I enjoyed it very much. However, I needed to save up money for college and the minimum wage at the pool wasn't enough to help me achieve my goals so I switched jobs. I started working at GOODONYA which is a restaurant focused on sustainability and making good quality food with the healthiest ingredients. I love nature so I agreed with their mission statement so I applied to be a busser. I got the job and I met a great community that I truly loved to work with. Even though the daily tasks were fairly boring, every day was filled with enjoyment because of this great community. As I learned more about how to buss tables and contribute to the restaurant, I learned a lot about how to run a business. I had to take a break from working there to pursue my college education, but I plan on working there again this summer. In both these jobs I learned how great making others feel rewarded is.
