Responsible for assisting the Property Manager in all areas of commercial property management for a portfolio of office buildings and retail shopping centers in multiple markets. This includes overseeing a range of daily tenant communications including work order requests, collections, and lease inquiries. Additional responsibilities consist of third-party vendor work order coordination, accounts payable and accounts receivable, thorough lease review, and preparation of monthly financial reports.

Responsible for supporting the Assistant Property Manager and the Property Manager with administering all facets of commercial property management. Tasks include tenant collections, lease review, composing and distributing memorandums, and maintaining insurance documentation. Other job duties involve invoice coding, vendor negotiations, contract and service agreement preparation, as well as, preparing monthly and annual budget and financial reports for the Property Manager.

Daily tasks primarily involved acting as a liaison and clerk to the County Planning Commission. I was responsible for maintaining Public Hearing legal notices, agendas, minutes, and related documents. Throughout the process, I provided information on policies, procedures, services, and ordinances to other employees and agencies and to the public. If questions or concerns arose, I was available to offer assistance to citizens and/or elected and appointed officials. I also communicated with developers and engineers regarding current plans of development and subdivision submittals. Other work duties included assisting Planning Technicians in the routing process of development paperwork to interdepartmental agencies. As an Office Assistant III, I was responsible for performing specialized clerical and office duties such as typing and preparing letters, special reports and summaries, as well as, facilitating electronic database and record room maintenance. I also assisted in reviewing site plans and GIS maps in accordance with County codes and standards for plans of development and subdivisions. Internship responsibilities focused on organizing and converting subdivision and plan of development files to electronic records. These tasks included scanning large format plats from original linens and updating related performance management databases.
