Coming from a background of both Physics and Math, I always expected to be an academic. During that time, I was on track to become a professor of pure Mathematics with a focus on topological data analysis. However, the further I delved into the world of academia the less enchanted I became. Though I revere the profession, I couldn't ignore the feelings that had been creeping ever more steadily into the back of my mind: I wanted to do something corporeal with the knowledge I had gained.Then I found the field of Data Science, and I knew immediately that this is where I needed to be.Ever since that revelation, I have worked tirelessly to gain my grounding in the field. I managed to teach myself all the foundational skills, from an extensive knowledge of Python and the numerous packages used for statistical modeling, to SQL, JavaScript, and much more. Now, through developing automation tools and models for multiple employers, I have boundless confidence and motivation to contribute to the cutting edge of the Data Science field.My areas of expertise: data analysis, data visualization, predictive modeling, natural language processing, Python, JavaScript, SQL, and more.
