After realizing early on that I was not going to be a famous actor, I decided to focus on something more realistic, business administration. Business was something that I felt I would be fond of based on my ability to talk to just about anybody and come up with fresh ideas. However, throughout college, I had many days where I felt that I wasn't getting to express myself and be creative. Then something magical happened, I took my first marketing class. I fell in love with marketing right away and now know that it is my true passion. This year, I have created my own blog called Unshakeable Millennial. I write content about self-development, college life and relationships. Building the website and the brand was my first taste of real marketing, and I couldn't get enough! I spent hours perfecting my logo and color scheme and weeks learning Wordpress and Pinterest. I have gained WordPress skills, an understanding of SEO and a much larger appreciation for anyone in content creation. I hope to gain experience in marketing through a part time position or internship. I am hungry to learn about this subject and ready to give my all. The skills that I would love to develop include social media marketing, marketing analytics, content creation, branding and creative problem-solving.
