As a Health Care Specialist (68W) in the US Army, your main job is to provide emergency medical treatment and care to soldiers. This includes stopping bleeding, managing airways, conducting patient assessments, administering medications, starting IVs, and performing basic medical procedures. You'll also handle medical evacuations and teach basic first aid and combat lifesaver techniques to fellow soldiers. Keeping accurate patient records and medical histories is also part of your duties.
