Fish is a real estate and hard money lending technology incubator. I lead the research and development teams, and guide efforts around the creation of innovative and disruptive products and services.

As an automation engineer I design, develop, and implement various software and tools to improve business efficiency and add value to existing technology services. Some of the technologies I work with are: AWS, Jenkins, Ansible, Python, Javascript, Powershell, and many others.

I was responsible for all IT systems, and the full life cycle of services. I provided the direction for new technologies to improve business efficiency, data continuity, and security. My specific duties included project planning, vendor management, and creating and implementing procedures, policies and practices.

As a member of the Problem and Knowledge management team, I was leveraged as a subject matter expert for Airwatch, Bomgar, Kaseya and N-Able. Problem management focuses on proactive and reactive root cause analysis of a wide range of incidents, with no limit in scope, or environment. Knowledge management focuses on the availability, accuracy, and volume of knowledge available to our engineering and support teams, as well as training those teams in its effective use.

Responsible for the deployment, monitoring, and remediation of multiple alert systems (Nagios, Kaseya, ect.) facing hundreds of clients which ranged from SMB to Enterprise. The role also included responsibility of on-premise (Hyper-V, VMware), datacenter (Citrix/ZenCenter), and private cloud hosted (AWS) internal environments. I worked closely with both our field engineering team and our remote services team, often providing instruction and direction.

This was a multifaceted role given the responsibility of defining processes, procedures and best practices for our remote services department based on the ITIL framework, as well as governing the workflow of our remote services agents (Incident, problem and request cradle to grave). In addition I took ownership of our remote monitoring tools, creating value for our clients by providing industry leading responsiveness and automated remediation of common problems.

I installed, troubleshot, and maintained an extensive variety of products, servicesand equipment including physical and virtual servers, managed and unmanaged networking equipment (Cisco, Sonicwell, Dell, Netgear), security appliances (RSA), backup products (Symantec System Recovery, Backup Exec, Veeam) anti-virus software (Kaspersky, McAfee business and cloud, Symantec, Malware Bytes), domain controllers and other directory services, exchange servers, clustered solutions, and much more. I trained employees, identified, analyzed, and repaired products, as well as ordered and replaced parts as needed. I also determined and recommend which products or services would best fit the clients needs.

I provided leadership in the provisioning of long-term, expert consulting and growth planning services in specialized computing areas for small and medium sized businesses in Northern Arizona. I researched and investigated various specialized computing options and solutions. Acted as technical advisor to 3rd parties and vendors and assisted in the review and potential implementation of software and hardware.

As an IT Specialist for the DOI I worked with all facets of the federal governmentand had cross functional responsibilities for IT and Management as well as externalpartners. I made sure that the information technology infrastructure and digital propertywas fully operational. My specific duties included server implementation (DHCP,Exchange, SNORT, AD, ect.) and end user support.

I provided technical support assistance to businesses and consumers for Internet services, web hosting services, desktop support, and security related issues. This position was completely remote and required extensive use of remote administration tools.

My responsibilities in this position included: maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting,and repairing computer systems, and related hardware. This included documenting,upgrading, and deploying software systems, as well as peripherals. These serviceswere performed both on-site and at our office, with a variety of clients.

As a base level computer technician my responsibilities included: virus detection andremoval, management of small business and home networks, hardware and softwaretroubleshooting, and client consultation services.
