Structural Analysis Engineer
CurrentI am the lead dynamic ground loads engineer for Boeing's fleet support team. Our team supports many of Boeing's products including the 737, 747, 757, 767, 777 and 787. I perform and oversee aircraft level modeling, simulation, testing, and certification for the airframe and landing gear. This includes finite element analysis, aeroelastic dynamics, and oleo-pneumatic shock strut simulation. Our team is tasked with a diverse set of projects from fleet repair approvals to ground stability to product development and configuration design. Primarily our role is to deliver ultimate, limit and fatigue loads to support structural design and certification. I have developed models for landing gear dynamics and validated them through full-scale prototype testing. Our team also defines requirements for the purposes of safety and certification to the part 25 regulations. My experience in this role has also included projects in the area of data analytics via Python. Prior to my current role, I worked on flight loads, wing leading and trailing edge loads and gust loads.
