At Hovde Properties, I worked as a property management intern at Ovation309, a 248 unit high-end apartment building in downtown Madison. My time was split between the leasing office and front desk; my leasing office duties involved giving tours, preparing reports in Excel and managing accounts in Yardi & On-Site. My front desk concierge responsibilities involved answering phone calls, helping residents, making reservations and checkouts, keeping common areas stocked and presentable, and monitoring cameras.

During the majority of my gap year between high school and college, I worked on finding and managing investment properties with my dad in the Jefferson Park area of Chicago. We successfully acquired, renovated, and fully leased out a 10,000 square-foot foreclosed office building and ‘fixed and flipped' a single-family brick bungalow that was in probate & pre-foreclosure, ultimately accepting an offer 6.3% over our list price within one day of being on the MLS.
