Developing mechanical design of Liquid Hydrogen, Liquid Oxygen, and Cold Gas Helium Cryogenic Piping Subsystems on the NASA Mobile Launcher 2 (ML2) to support the NASA Space Launch System(SLS). I am proficient in software systems such as CREO PTC 3D CAD software to route and model piping systems, AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow and Excel VBA to perform pressure drop calculations, and AutoPIPE software for cyclic thermal pipe stress analysis. I created a custom Excel macro pressure drop calculator to expedite the design iteration process of concurrent engineering on this project with an aggressive completion timeline.

Worked with deck crew and filled in as roughneck on the rig floor to expand experience and knowledge of offshore operations. Worked with Subsea engineers to maintain BOP equipment. Improved Crane wire change out process to reduce operation time and risk.

South Korea/West Africa

Operations Engineer training as Ops Manager for the Atwood Achiever Ultra Deep Water Drill Ship. Assisted delivery of Atwood Achiever new build in South Korea DSME shipyard.Traveled initial voyage to Singapore overseeing commissioning, post-delivery projects around the rig, and promoting safe working practices.Assisted with BOP and Riser equipment load out in Singapore. Managed post-delivery rig upgrade projects in Singapore. Monitored riser disconnect tensioner test for final commissioning after drilling first top hole section offshore Mauritania. Once Final Commissioning was complete The Atwood Achiever Drillship was operating off the north west coast of Africa. I worked rotational in different escalating positions around the rig to learn about the over all operations and get a perspective of working in different positions. I also worked on shore to support the shore based team in Morocco, Mauritania, and Senegal with new equipment installation projects, between well work scope planning, crew change, and global logistics of parts or equipment that are sent to the rig from international suppliers.

Measurement While Drilling and Logging While Drilling operations in the Gulf of MexicoAs an MWD/LWD Field Engineer I primarily focus on gathering real-time well information, such as petrophysical measurements and down-hole pressures, during drilling operations in the Gulf of Mexico. Job duties include equipment logistics, Inventory of on location equipment, wiring sensors for mud telemetry/depth tracking, sending out logging and rig activity reports to supervisors and customers, and also other troubleshooting and monitoring responsibilities. Chemical Engineering prepared me well for critical thinking to make calculations for hydraulic pressures and flow-rates down-hole, which are crucial for equipment settings. I also collaborate with the rig crew in many phases of the job for things such as crane signalling for moving of equipment and mud pump control coordination with the driller to toggle settings for down-hole equipment.
