I have the technical chops to make your data shine and the communication skills to make your data sing. I am an aspiring data scientist pursuing my MSA degree at the Institute of Advanced Analytics. At the Institute, I'm honing my knowledge base and coding know-how. My 4+ years of teaching experience, stats, Python, R, and SQL skills make me well suited to the dynamic world of Data Science.My doctorate in mathematics has given me detailed technical knowledge about the algorithms and concepts involved in the data science field. I am well versed in linear algebra and its implementation with software, optimization algorithms such as gradient descent, statistical theory, and its applications to the world around us.Before returning to school, I was an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Campbell University. I communicated math knowledge to a variety of audiences. From the general public to research professionals, I've handled it all. I relish the challenge of breaking down complex ideas into something accessible, engaging, and dynamic!Last year at Campbell University, I was honored to lead the charge in designing a new data-based program. It was an interdisciplinary collaboration between a diversity of minds. By the time I submitted my final report, I had learned how to stay on task, keep morale high, and -- most importantly -- communicate clearly.In short, I have the math, stats, and programming background to crunch the numbers and the communication, presentation, and leadership skills to make those numbers make sense.
