I started working at Meadowlark Dairy the summer after my sophomore year of high school. Initially, I took on the role of a Server, where I was responsible for taking orders, serving food, and noting any dietary restrictions. I also handled customer payments using handheld devices or cash. Through dedication and hard work, I advanced to the position of Schedule Organizer. In this role, I created daily job rotation charts, developed closing job sheets, and ensured tasks were divided equitably among workers. Eventually, I was promoted to Manager, where I oversaw operations by holding workers accountable, assigning tasks, and managing inventory. I also conducted tests to ensure equipment safety and quality production, while managing cash handling and register balancing. This progression taught me valuable skills in leadership, organization, and customer service, ensuring smooth operations at the Dairy.
