Surveyed existing utilities and site conditions using GPS equipment, created base-maps and assisted in the design and layout of proposed new and replacement water mains using Civil 3D. Updated map database using ArcGIS program. Assisted in applying for DEP permits.

Managed skilled crews and subcontractors on water treatment expansion project. Worked with owners, crews, PM’s, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and execute tasks. Participated in weekly safety and progress meetings. Performed grade staking and layouts. Assisted foremen and laborers with safety, pipe-fitting, operating heavy equipment, carpentry, pouring concrete, layout, site organization, and acquiring materials.

Assisted in drafting and plan development on water and sanitary projects. Inspected San. And SW Manholes. Performed construction stakeouts and As-Built surveys on multiple energy projects in southern Ohio using GPS and Total Station equipment.

Assisted with civil design projects using AutoCAD software. Preformed construction layout and boundary surveys requiring deed research and usage of various surveying instruments.

Responsible for the inspection of 50+ category IV dams in northwestern Pennsylvania. Used online databases to research current owners and view new structures around the floodplains. Wrote inspection reports and met with owners to discuss findings and recommendations of supervising engineer.
