I am excited to be at the forefront of the emerging field of climate change resilience. My passion for enacting real-world change has guided me toward an interest in protecting infrastructure and livelihoods through environmental research, planning, and urban design. Since graduating from Cornell University in May 2022, I have been working as a Planner I at Weston & Sampson. This experience has already fostered an invaluable opportunity to work with incredible professionals while utilizing my prior knowledge to improve municipalities across New England. My current work includes designing comprehensive plans, identifying climate resilient solutions, working directly with communities through public meetings/workshops, and analyzing opportunities for improving the urban fabric.During my time at Cornell, I had the fortune of interning for the Environmental Defense Fund to identify potential strategies for coastal resilience in New York and New Jersey. I previously produced GIS maps depicting differences in demographics across manufactured home parks under Professor Linda Shi of Cornell University. In conjunction with Cornell class projects, these jobs have provided me with incredible hands-on experiences that inspired me to pursue a career in planning and climate adaptation. Just as climate resilience is in its infancy, I am just starting out and excited to grow in the field.
