The AMP is a concert and event venue in northern Fayetteville, AR. It is a seasonal venue that usually hosts anywhere from 8-15 events durning the spring and summer months. All musical acts bring large quantities of merchandise to sell to the concert goers. All of this merchandise must be counted and checked in, and after sales close, the money must be counted with taxes applied. I oversee all check-in, sales, and closing processes, and I calculate and settle the final percentage split between band tour managers and AMP promoters and owners.

SAKE is a student-run, non-profit business operated through the University of Arkansas' Sam M. Walton College ofBusiness. Applied transactions and economic events to QuickBooks accounting software; created monthly work papers to ensure the accuracy of month-end closes and reporting. Overhauled and updated outdated manual processes to digitally automated systems Developed accounting controls for internal operations with respect to the cash and inventory systems of sales. Performed monthly bank reconciliation with QuickBooks ledger and prepared financial statements. Coordinated all functions of accounts payable (taxes, billing functions, writing checks).
