During my internship at Xalt Energy, I had the privilege of developing and showcasing a diverse set of skills in the field of cell technology. A major focus of my work involved SQL programming, where I excelled in creating optimized database structures and crafting SQL views to boost performance and connectivity between databases. This expertise allowed me to efficiently manage and analyze large datasets, enabling seamless data retrieval for various teams within the organization.Throughout the internship, I honed my abilities in data management and reporting. I successfully created detailed and user-friendly reports using Microsoft Access, which provided engineers with a convenient way to interact with data from SQL databases. The proficiency in designing data flows from Access forms to pilot databases, materials databases, and design calculators allowed for streamlined data transfer and automated calculations, reducing manual data entry efforts and potential errors.As part of my work, I actively engaged with data visualization using Power BI, creating insightful charts based on the calculator outputs. These visualizations served as powerful communication tools, enabling stakeholders and researchers to understand and interpret complex data effectively.Throughout the internship, I embraced a problem-solving mindset and demonstrated adaptability when confronted with new challenges and scientific concepts. My ability to persevere and seek guidance when needed empowered me to navigate the complexities of the projects with confidence.Overall, my internship at Xalt Energy allowed me to showcase and further develop a robust skill set in SQL programming, data management, reporting, lab work, data visualization, problem-solving, and collaboration.

The Getting rid of waste through team harmony department implements process improvement strategies using lean six sigma tools. My role on the team is to analyze data, and then implement solutions by developing software. My most recent project involved analyzing particle counts utilizing Power BI for data visualizations, automating testing procedures with Excel VBA, and training coworkers on how to use the new tools. I am excited to grow at Xalt Energy, they are a Freudenberg company. The culture is focused on safety and growth which I completely agree with. I excited for what the future holds!

The Northwood University International Auto Show is the largest outdoor new car show in north America, featuring over 500 vehicles from 65 different manufacturers. We planned and prepped for over a year. Our meetings consisted of strategic planning for the theme, operations, marketing, and vehicle acquisition. There was an estimated 50,000 people that attended the show. I was in charge of running the domestic division which consisted of 13 teams and over 70 cars. I learned many valuable lessons about project planning and leading teams throughout my time as the Domestic Divisional Chair.

While interning at Amrock I was able to support the disbursement team distribute checks and financial documents. I was in charge of producing and disbursing bundles that included customer loans and documentation. I had to work closely with my team leaders to ensure customer satisfaction and make deadlines. This was my first internship, and it helped me get accustomed to common business practices such as using software, collaborating with coworkers, and even how to dress.
