I am a junior at SMU studying in the Cox School of Business, pursuing a degree in general business and a specialization in entrepreneurship. Growing up, I always enjoyed watching my parents be successful entrepreneurs, and wanted to help in any way possible. Although my tasks started out by tagging jewelry and other merchandise, over the last couple of years, I gained important knowledge on how to run a business. This summer, I was able to apply my accomplished skills from working with Lolo to two internship opportunities. Working as an intern for 3D PR and marketing allowed me to apply my skills to creating the most curated and up-to-date research and content. Working as a PR and marketing intern, I was able to broaden my understanding of the retail industry and continue to develop my skills in problem solving, critical thinking, and interconnectedness. I hope to continue developing my business knowledge by broadening my work experience, hopefully following a career in the fashion business industry.
