In the 10th grade, we are finally allowed to take business classes, and I decided to take accounting. Through this, I developed a love for accounting which only grew when I joined our school's Business Professionals of America chapter. I placed 2nd Regionally in my first year and was hooked. Since then I was the chapter president at my high school and have been ranked at the Regional, State, and National levels. I have known ever since that I wanted to major in accounting. I have always seemed to find myself taking charge of situations. Throughout high school and college I have had several leadership experiences and decided to add Management as my second major. I realized that with a degree in Management the possibilities are endless, and while I love accounting I see myself in a leadership position.
