I am a Junior in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville going for a Business degree in Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. In my current position I am a Supervisor at Kroger which I have been at for 5 years. In this job i must be ready for any and every problem that may occur throughout the day. As I work, I must be able to anticipate problems before they start to occur in order to prevent them in the first place. After working at Kroger for a while I have been able to notice when our registers are about to start forming line and go correct that as soon as possible. I am a very adaptable as I have worked in every nonperishable departments.Some of my business interests include doing accounting processes and functions of how stores are run. My experiences with customer service, supervisor, and end of night accounting processes have prepared me to pursue a career where I can utilize my knowledge in accounting and managerial roles. For example, at my current store i am occasionally the manager on duty if the closing manager has an emergency or any other reason to leave early. My career goal after college is to find a job in a managerial position for either my current company or a different one.
