I am currently doing a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing with a minor in Statistics at the University of Canterbury. My studies have given me the fundamentals on marketing principles and statistics that I am eager to apply in real-life situations where they can be used for data informed marketing campaigns achieving measurable results.In my academic journey, I have also been involved in various leadership and management positions. At Wildfire Pizza, as Assistant Manager, I developed my customer service skills, inventory control skills as well as problem-solving skills. Additionally, my role as a Checkout Supervisor at Pak n Save Hornby enhanced by team management capabilities; I learned how to train employees and ensure smooth running of operations.Microsoft excel is one area that I am skilled in with much emphasis on data analysis which is a crucial skill in today’s marketing. Furthermore, I am looking to further my skill and expertise by learning more advanced analysis software such as R allowing me to analyze more complex data and get better visual representation of my findings.I am excited to enter the business world, eager to apply my skills, and look forward to continuously learning and developing further expertise.
